In 2023, Rolled Threads Unlimited grew its operations—through purchases of machines, additions of team members, and more, while maintaining our commitment to delivering quality services and products to our valued customers.
Recently, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Rolled Threads Unlimited, Matt Ladky, offered reflections on the past year and shared both goals and expected challenges for the company in 2024.
Rolled Threads Unlimited added a high-performance parts washer, a high-speed planetary threads roller, and other investments in 2023. How will these investments provide opportunities for growth in 2024?
We believe in upgrading to the newest thread rolling technologies to improve efficiency and production output whenever possible. The addition of our new Videx high-speed threads roller will allow us to seek out high-quantity tie rod production opportunities. This is exciting because we have always been a small-to-medium lot size shop. We plan on having this machine ready for production runs in Q1.
As we begin 2024, what are some of your goals for Rolled Threads Unlimited in this next year?
- Launch our new website
- Surpass 2023’s sales numbers
- Expand our vendor base to accommodate for projected growth
- Continue planning for facility expansion
What are some of the challenges facing the industry in 2024?
In a way, we will face the same challenges that have presented themselves for a few years now. Rising costs, economic uncertainty, material supply issues, and a lack of workforce availability continue to present challenges for manufacturers across the country.
What is an accomplishment you are most proud of from 2023?
I am thrilled to be a part of a team at Rolled Threads Unlimited who, in 2023, produced the highest sales in the history of the company.

After entering the online ticket lottery for 20+ years without success, I finally got selected for tickets to the 2024 Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. I cannot wait to spend a couple of days there with friends watching the best golfers in the world play.
